Did you know that in 2024, the State Labour Inspection (PIP) is planning a record number of inspections?
According to the action plan, the PIP is planning 60,000 inspections for 2024 (which means there are only six months left!) and legal labour protection will remain one of the priorities for the PIP. PIP inspections will include, among others:
- employment relationship benefits and working time,
- compliance of documentation with legal requirements,
- compliance with new legal solutions introduced to the Labour Code, such as remote working or new rights of employees related to parenthood,
- the state of fulfilment of the employer’s obligations in the area of occupational health and safety, including the assessment of the correctness and completeness of the prepared risk assessments and organisational solutions in this respect,
- contracts of mandate and contracts for the provision of services in terms of meeting the conditions indicating the existence of an employment relationship,
- compliance with Employee Capital Plans (PPK) regulations.
Can your company also be affected by PIP inspections?
If you employ staff, this is very likely!
What about the consequences?
Lack of employee documentation can have negative consequences for the employer! The fine imposed on the employer for deficiencies in employee documentation can range from PLN 1,000 to as much as PLN 30,000!
How can we help?
As experienced in the area of labour law, we will help you verify the documentation you have and correct or complete any deficiencies. We can also support you in the comprehensive preparation of employee documentation and internal acts so that a possible PIP inspection is not a challenge but merely a formality for your company. It is part of the legal compliance of every employer to have correct documentation.
What are the benefits of a proper audit of employee documentation?
An employee records audit is a comprehensive review of an employer’s internal documents to verify the status of employee records, allowing compliance to be assessed and areas of risk or documentation deficiencies to be identified. With the announcement of such extensive audits, it is a good idea to verify the documentation you have and make additions/corrections where necessary, thus minimising the risk of negative consequences from authorities, the consequences of employees using AI tools irresponsibly or in breach of regulations (e.g. on RODO), tidying up and standardising documentation and increasing the security of your company as an employer.
An element of legal compliance for any employer is having the correct documentation. We will be pleased to assist you in verifying the documentation you have and correcting or supplementing any deficiencies, as well as to support you in the comprehensive preparation of employee documentation and internal acts, so that a possible inspection by the State Labour Inspection will not be a challenge, but merely a formality for your company.
What is also very important – correct legal compliance will avoid many difficulties during a possible PIP inspection!
