Katarzyna is Managing Partner of Advicero Nexia. Katarzyna is certified Tax Advisor since 2003, gathering professional experience since 2000. During her professional career Katarzyna has worked for international consulting firms, including Big Four (years 2000-2006), starting from 2009 she acts as Partner (till 2012 in an international advisory company, later on in Advicero). Katarzyna specializes in transaction advice. She has broad experience of advising on acquisitions and disposals of assets, in particular in relation to renewable energy and real estate projects, as well as related financial restructuring. Katarzyna has advised and supported numerous restructuring projects, designing solutions to optimize both the transactional and ongoing tax exposure, her experience includes: mergers, liquidations, transformations and in-kind contributions. Katarzyna has acted as an advisor to numerous open-ended or closed investment funds on both transactional and on-going activities, including acquisitions and disposals via asset or share deals, restructurings aimed at tax optimization, obtaining tax exemption for Polish sourced income. Katarzyna has broad experience in advising renewable energy entities, in particular in project acquisition, financing, elaboration business plans, settlement of sale of green certificates. She provides on-going advice for companies active in Renewable Energy, Real Estate and Retail sectors. She also has experience in representing her clients in disputes with tax authorities as well as in front of Administrative Courts. Katarzyna is author of numerous articles in periodicals and business dailies, she is also editor and co-author of the book issued in 2011: “Restructuring of corporations – tax aspects. Katarzyna has been lecturer in numerous trainings, seminars and conferences in Poland and abroad. Katarzyna graduated from Warsaw School of Economics (Master of Economics, 2000).
